Devesh Mody

Devesh Mody, PE, is a Principal at INVICUS. With over 21 years of experience, he has a strong background in Construction Management and Project Controls on various infrastructure projects across the US and globally, in the Middle East and India. He has served in senior executive roles at a global engineering and a global contracting company, thereby providing a unique blend of contractor and consultant experience, which enables clients to receive dual expertise and different perspectives. He brings with him broad exposure in program and project management, site supervision, field engineering, claims and change negotiation, site and material logistics, along with project controls experience in scheduling, cost control and estimating on large and complex infrastructure programs such as highways, bridges, and airports.

This experience is spread across Texas, Connecticut, Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia. He also served in a senior construction executive overseas role in Qatar; building out the local infrastructure in preparation for the FIFAA World Cup in 2022. As Area Manager he was responsible for construction business practice development in Texas for a global engineering firm. He has authored an article in a CMAA publication (Construction Management Association of America). He has a master’s degree in Construction Management from Virginia Tech, and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the reputable IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Chennai.

  • Deputy Area Delivery Manager/Acting Construction Director, Local Roads and Drainage Program, Doha, Qatar
  • Program Construction Services Manager on TXDOT’sI-10 Katy Freeway Widening and Toll Road Construction, Houston, Texas
  • Project Principal on HCTRA(Harris County Toll Road Authority) projects, including toll road on I-10 Katy Freeway and BW8 widening projects.
  • Served in various capacities through the 5 year life cycle of the International Services Expansion Program (ISEP), from design through construction and turnover at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Houston, Texas
  • Part of the start-up “Tiger-Team” that helped kick-off New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport expansion at Delhi, India
  • Master Scheduler I-95 Q-Bridge, New Haven/Glastonbury, Connecticut
